What Is Craniosacral?

What to Expect

Craniosacral is a light touch modality and does not require the client to remove their clothing. The client will lay on their back on the massage table and find a comfortable position with eyes open or closed. Questions and discussion of what the client is experiencing are welcome at any time throughout the session.

The therapist will begin by assessing the craniosacral rhythm (CSR). Based on restrictions in this rhythm the therapist will begin assisting the body's natural tendencies to release discomfort and facilitate increased ease within the craniosacral and central nervous systems.
