In her spare time she enjoys running, climbing, yoga, crafting and floating in large bodies of water, reading, taking naps, journaling and finding ways to incorporate sustainability into her life.

Madison completed 700 hours of hands on and text study at the Costa Rican School of Massage Therapy located in Samara Costa Rica. She is supplementing this with continuing education specific to ease of movement, athletic pursuits and craniosacral therapy.

My Approach

Client goals are top priority. Each individual deserves a massage tailored to their specific needs. As a result, no two massages at Active Kneads are the same. Clear communication is key between the client and therapist for success in every session.

Thoughtfully filling out the intake form can save us time in session and get you on the table quicker. Clients are encouraged to voice likes and dislikes before, during and after sessions. Your feedback brings you closer to receiving your most effective and individualized body work.

Athletes and Massage

"What role did massage therapy play in keeping you in top shape as a competitive swimmer and, more specifically, an Olympic athlete?"
-American Massage Therapy Association

"Massage therapy was a very big part of my training routine. I treated my body like a race car and always wanted it to be ready to go. On average, I was getting worked on four to five days a week."
-Michael Phelps, interviewed by AMTA
